Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald was born on September 24, 1896 in St. Paul, Minnesota, and he died on December 21, 1940. He was named after Francis Scott Key, the man who wrote "The Star Spangled Banner. He was the author of the famous novel "The Great Gatsby". His marriage to a woman named Zelda was reflected in many of his novels.
